Actually it is a win sort within a Yusho/Jun Yusho (1st or 2nd Place) sort. Winning the Championship takes precedence over all else in this configuration.  For san'yaku (Top Rankers) it is a straight a Yusho Championship/Jun-Yusho (2nd Place) sort, as that is what san'yaku are measured by. For Maegashira (Rank and Filers) those who won Yusho or Jun-Yusho are listed at the top. For the rest it is a win sort, with ties broken by the method listed below.
