JSA Youtube has offered 2 full matches on its Youtube channel. Hopefully they will do this every day. It is a live feed, no commentary, but it gives another perspective on these matches.
1. Terunofuji (Y1w) v Takayasu (K1e) (Terunofuji is on the right)
2. Takakeisho (O1w) v Onosho (M6w) (Takakeisho is on the right)
++++
Notable:
Terunofuji (Y1w) won a very difficult 1 and 1/2 minute bout against Takayasu (K1e) and showed his frustration by pushing the Komusubi out of the Dohyo (ring) after the match was already decided. Takaysu fell hard and had difficulty getting up but eventually did in order to return to the dohyo and bow. He was offered a wheel chair to go back to the dressing room but refused it. Hopefully it is not a serious injury. It was certainly an unnecessary one.
Today was a long day in terms of match times, with Ichinojo (K1w) defeating Takarafuji (M5w) after a marathon 3 minute and 23.4 second battle. It was the third time Ichinojo has been involved in the longest match of the day and the 4th time for Takarafuji. This was by far the longest bout of the Basho so far, surpassing the Day 3 battle between Kiribayama (M2w) and Takaysu by almost 8 seconds. Along with the 3 minute bout and Terunofuji's match, there were also two matches of over 30 seconds. The day's matches took 7 minutes 20 seconds, the longest of any day in the Tournament.
Terunofuji, at 10-1 remained one match ahead of Myogiryu (M10w) and two matches ahead of 5 Rikishi. Four Rikishi earned their Kachi-koshi (winning record and promotion) today: Mitakeumi (S1e), Okinoumi (M8e), Endo (M11e), and Chiyonokuni (M17e). All of them are now 8-3. Chiyonokuni can celebrate another Makuuchi Basho, as he was the only one of the five who had to earn a Kachi-koshi in order to stay in the Top Division.
On the other side of the coin, four Rikishi received Make-koshi (losing record and demotion): Hoshoryu (M1e) (3-6-2--he can finish with a winning record but cannot earn a Kachi-koshi unless he has 8 wins), Terutsuyoshi (M7w), Ichiyamamoto (M15e), and Tokushoryu (M16w). Their records are now 3-8. For the latter two, it most likely means demotion to Juryo (2nd Division).
It was another tough day at the office for Maegashira (rank and filers) against san'yaku (Top Rankers). They lost all 4 of their bouts against their betters, reducing their overall record to 19-35 (.352). They are now 0-9 v san'yaku the last two days. The overall Top Rank record improved to 46-31-30 (.597).
Unfortunately, Kotonowaka (M3w) dropped out of the Basho due to a knee injury. He finishes 3-7-5, with a Make-koshi. His absence brought in a Juryo substitute for the first time since Day 7. Wakamotoharu (J3e), who now has half of all the Juryo wins (2-0) defeated Chiyomaru (M16e).

Kyoto News:
1. I wanted to get the winning record a little earlier. I kind of regret losing a couple of bouts. I don't think the Yokozuna will lose but I want to stay with him. I'll come up with a solid game plan for when I face him.
Mitakeumi (S1e) on his victory over Daieisho (M4w), improving his record to 8-3 and earning his Kachi-koshi (winning record. He will keep his S1e san'yaku (Top Rank) ranking. He remains two matches behind Tarunofuji (Y1w).
2. I've been able to stay focused each day. I'll just concentrate on my next bout tomorrow.
Endo (M11e) on his victory over Kaisei (M14e). The victory improved his record to 8-3.
